grandson of Mozzafar-ed - Din Shah. We regret to announce his demise in Switzerland

Directly above is Prince Abounasr Azod Qajar "The Red Prince," who presently lives in France. He is King Mozzafar-ed-Din Shah's grandson. His father, Prince Azod-os-Soltan was was the son of the Shah and his mother Mrs. Daftar-ol-Molouk was the sister of the famed Prime Minister of Iran Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh (1951-1953).
A pioneer of the sugar industry in Iran, Prince Azod contributed with foresight and brilliance to the development of Iranian agriculture. He has recently completed his memoires on "The Qajars and their Time." To use a euphemism, since he worked during the last regime, his book did not exactly please everyone. By the way, in Iran, they named him the "Red Prince" for he continually helped workers and farmers, providing free lodgings, schools and hospitals with his own personal funds. Even the Islamic Republic of Iran, not known for its generosity towards the past, endeavored to praise his achievements while confiscating his properties.

"Man of the Year" Prime Minister Dr. Mossadegh 1951-1953 was a Qajar.
Also, his sister was the mother of Prince Azod.
My wife Angela and I were married at the residence of Ms. Zia Ashraf, Dr. Mossadegh's daughter.
The ceremonies interrupted for a time by two nasty Scottish Terriers,
were conducted by the late Ayatollah Taleghani.
