Curmudgeonly Observations
& Generalizations

- As we fight the enemies of our country, our
government is transforming itself into the enemy of its own citizens. In an
ironic twist, it will maneuver to consolidate power, until its enemies and
its citizens are on the same side.
- Single individuals mostly kill for
territory and power. Groups of people almost always kill for their belief
systems. Paradigm clashes often provoke violent confrontation. People
sufficiently alien to one another don't wage wars of extermination: cousins
do. It requires sufficient similarity of paradigm for each side to fully
comprehend what utter swine the others are.
- Corporations are "persons," under
the law. They have many of the rights of natural people. They just have
different motivations: inhuman ones. Essentially, they are a race of very
powerful aliens who are not necessarily friendly to humans.
- The arch alien is the government.
Governments exist only to govern. They don't much care whom they
govern, as long as the governed shut up, work and pay.
- Governments are run by people with personal
agendas. The people running a government -- or a corporation -- mostly act
in the service of their own personal agendas. Congress is living proof.
- As I learned from a CIA agent friend, those
who govern are driven by money: not ideology, not religion, not patriotism,
not faith, not love, not loyalty, not an ethic of service. Money: Count on
it.
- The only way to amass great wealth is to be
obsessive about it. The price is your soul. The very wealthy are generally
people who are very messed up by their obsession.
- Children are snapshots of their parents'
souls. The children of the stinking rich are generally broken things, though
never broken quite the same way the amassers of the wealth were.
- The stock market is run solely for the
enrichment of the brokers and investment bankers. IPO's are all fixed. All
of them. You are going to get screwed if you believe otherwise.
- In their professional role, lawyers are not to
be trusted at all, ever. Sometimes you have to, but then you invariably get
screwed, don't you? Oh yes: most politicians are lawyers.
- It is possible to manage benignly. You will
not be thanked for it, so you must do it for its own sake.
- Girls are wired from birth to experience
and evaluate their world in terms of relationship.
- Boys are wired to do stuff with things and
to relate objects to one another and to their activities.
- Most guys consider sex to be a comfort
issue. Give them fun and relief, and you are caring for them. With that need
taken care of, they generally do not seek change.
- It is possible for guys to be altruistic as
long as their seminal vesicles are empty.
- Few women really get this. Those who do are
delightful and their men are easygoing.
- Males become interested in relationships
for the sex. Only after they have felt the pain of loneliness do they begin
to consider relationships seriously for their other benefits. Very
precocious ones do this at, perhaps, 16; average is maybe 23. Many men I know
will tell you that it was around 30 for them.
- Most women think of sex more seriously.
Much of the background script involves sorting and choosing whom they will
breed with. The lower the socio-economic level, the more the breeding
imperative predominates. When you see the attitude, "I don't want your
baby so you are nothing," in an adult, you are generally seeing trailer trash.
Run away or repent having stayed.
- Political correctness, piety and
ostentatious propriety are camouflage for hidden evil intent. Sometimes it
can be held entirely at bay for a lifetime. More usually, it comes out when
nobody is thought to be watching.
- People who obsess about others' morality or
sexuality have serious skeletons in their own closets, always, always,
always. Otherwise, other people's peccadilloes would have only limited
entertainment value. Know theirs by their fixation on others' secrets.
- Certain groups of people are covertly
amoral, as a general rule. (The exceptions being the overt ones):
- Adult children of alcoholics, junkies,
speed freaks and members of certain religious sects are consistently
pathological. Contact should be minimized.
- Stupid people think they are very, very,
clever. The stupider, the cleverer.
- The "almost bright" tend to be
enforcers of literal mindedness or otherwise spend a great deal of their
attention on finding ways to demonstrate to themselves that they embody an
elevated level of discriminating awareness.
- Very bright people are generally less
convinced that they have the intellectual world by the tail.
- Uneducated people are often malicious
troublemakers, as they lack the basic competence they would need in order to
occupy themselves constructively. They generally hold themselves in very
high esteem, indeed. You will know them by their pit bulls, large trucks,
sleeveless garb and harmful behavior.
- Most people make themselves
"little," as beings. Then they whine. You will not change them by
talking to them: deep software intervention is all that works. Most folks
are inherently "bigger" than they recognize.
- "Right brained," is a euphemism
for "broken:" left brain, he no work too good.
- Many physicians know a great deal less than
they would like to believe they do. We have made them into a priesthood and
they completely fell for it. This makes for poor listening skills and has
been known to cause them to misestimate their patients.
- Kids tend to be savage. You have simply
forgotten what cruel little bastards they can be. They have to suffer at the
hands of peers, before they learn mercy. Aren't you glad you are bigger,
now?
- Computers are a multiplier of sorts. Thus they make most people stupider.
- Okay, we've done women's rights: now what
about men? Who dies younger, has the higher birth defect rate, sustains the
bulk of occupational injury and constitutes 96% of the imprisoned? Who gets
fed Ritalin to suppress their inherent nature? Who has a history of being
subjected to ritual genital mutilation in the developed West? Look no
farther, friends: it's your local "clueless, emotionally stunted,
perpetrating" male. "Why are there no good men left?"
- Most people harbor a deep and well-founded
metaphysical doubt that they truly exist. This is because of a fundamental
misconception of the nature of self.
- Most money is made selling other people an
identity to be, since they are fundamentally convinced that it comes from
without.
- It is not your imagination: people
who obstruct and delay others are doing so to have their existence
acknowledged.
