Ambassador Fereydoun Hoveyda, brother of the
late Prime Minister of Iran, former representative of Iran to the United
Nations, was the chairman of the Had Hoc Committee on International Terrorism
convened by the General Assembly of the the United Nations in 1973 and 1974.
Author of The Fall of the Shah, New York 1979, L'Islam
Bloqué Paris 1993 and Que veulent les Arabes? Paris 1991,
Ambassador Hoveyda is also the author of "The Problem of International Terrorism
at The United Nations," which was published in 1977 in Terrorism: An
International Journal. Hoveyda has also written countless novels and
articles including Les Quarantaines which won him a coveted prize.
His views do not necessarily reflect mine. Like most Qajars Fereydoun Hoveyda
likes cats and "George" was his favorite. In this most recent photograph
taken with a hidden camera, you can observe that maybe, he is not exactly
what he used to be. It is hoped that he will recuperate soon. Underneath
is a recent collage by Fereydoun Hoveyda.
