OTHER ARTHROPODS OF SEDONA
Sedona has many interesting insects other than Butterflies and
Moths. The large Hercules or Rhinocerous beetle. Numerous metallic green
"June" beetles, and a irridescent green and red Dung beetle. One of the
largest Cicadas in the United States. Several different types of Mantids.
Walking Sticks. Enormous Grasshoppers. Tarantula killer Wasps. And a variety
of Spiders, Scorpions and other non insects. Unfortunately, the scientific
documentation on many of these fascinating critters is sadly lacking or
unavailable.
